Nordfunded is a cryptocurrency proprietary trading firm built for crypto-native traders. If you're considering a Nordfunded challenge, this guide covers everything you need to know before you start: the challenge structure, the rules in detail, how payouts work, and how to maximise your chances of success.
The Challenge Structure
Nordfunded uses a one-step evaluation model. Unlike two-phase firms that require you to pass two separate assessments, Nordfunded requires you to meet the profit target once. When you do, you receive a funded account. There are no minimum trading day requirements and the unlimited timeframe means there is no artificial pressure to rush.
Available Challenge Plans
Nordfunded offers six capital tiers: Starter ($5,000), Basic ($10,000), Standard ($25,000), Pro ($50,000), Advanced ($75,000), and Elite ($100,000). All plans share the same core rules - a 10% profit target, 6% maximum drawdown, 4% daily drawdown, and an 80/20 profit split.
The Drawdown Rules
The maximum drawdown is 6% - your account cannot fall more than 6% below the starting balance at any point. On a $50,000 account, your balance cannot go below $47,000. The daily drawdown limit is 4% of the starting balance - a maximum daily loss of $2,000 on the same account.
Choosing Your Payout Day
One of Nordfunded's most distinctive features is trader-controlled payout scheduling. Rather than fixed payout dates, you choose when your profit split is paid. This flexibility allows funded traders to manage their personal cash flow on their own terms - a meaningful advantage over firms that restrict payouts to specific calendar days.
Which Plan Should You Choose?
Choose based on your current trading confidence and the strategy you will deploy. If you're new to prop challenges, starting with a Starter or Basic plan reduces the financial risk of the entry fee while you adapt to the challenge environment. If you have an established, tested strategy, the Pro or Elite plan gives you the capital base to generate meaningful income from day one as a funded trader.
