Many prop firms pay on fixed calendar dates. Nordfunded lets funded traders choose their own payout date from the dashboard. That flexibility is useful, but it works best when you understand what happens on payout day and plan your trading around it rather than picking a date at random.
Where to Set the Date
Open the Payouts page in the trader dashboard. Each funded account shows its next automatic payout date, or a prompt to set one if no date is scheduled. Choose 'Set Date' or 'Change Date', pick a day in the calendar and confirm. Dates can be selected from tomorrow up to 60 days ahead.
What Happens on Payout Day
Trading on the account is frozen for 24 hours starting at 10 AM Eastern Time on the selected date while the payout is calculated. Your share is 95% of eligible simulated funded-stage profit, sent to the crypto wallet saved in your dashboard. After the payout, the next payout date is set automatically for the following cycle.
How Many Times Can You Change It?
You can change the payout date a limited number of times in each payout cycle - currently four. The dashboard shows how many changes remain. Because changes are limited, choose a date that fits your plans rather than moving it repeatedly in response to short-term results.
Plan Around the Trading Freeze
Because trading pauses for 24 hours, think about open positions before payout day. Holding a large position into the freeze means you cannot manage it during that period. Many traders prefer to be flat or lightly positioned before 10 AM ET on their payout date.
Avoid Choosing a Date Based on One Good Day
It is tempting to schedule a payout immediately after a strong session. A better approach is to choose a regular rhythm that matches your trading and personal finances. Consistency also makes it easier to judge your performance month by month.
Before Your Payout Date Arrives
Make sure identity verification is approved, the Funded Trader Agreement is signed and your wallet address and network are correct. Payouts are processed as quickly as possible, but verification, weekends, blockchain conditions or provider outages can occasionally extend the time it takes for funds to arrive.
The Benefit of Choosing Your Own Date
Self-selected payout dates give traders more control over when they receive their share and how they structure their trading month. Used thoughtfully, the feature lets your payout schedule work around your life rather than the other way around.
