Alex K. is a 31-year-old trader from Munich who has been trading crypto markets since 2019. After years of trading his own capital, he decided to scale up through Nordfunded's Elite challenge. He passed in 22 days.

Why did you decide to try a prop challenge?

I had been consistently profitable on my own account for about two years, but the size was limiting my actual earnings. Nordfunded stood out because the challenge rules were clear and the profit split was competitive.

    What strategy did you use?

I trade mainly BTC and ETH on the four-hour chart. I look for confluences between key support and resistance levels, the 200 EMA, and volume profile. My average risk per trade is 0.75% and I target a minimum 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio.

Did you make any mistakes during the challenge?

Yes, in the first week I got impatient and took two trades I should not have taken. That was a wake-up call. I went back to strict criteria, stopped checking my P&L every hour, and just focused on the process.

What advice would you give someone starting their first challenge?

Trust your process more than your results day to day. If you have a bad day, stop. Do not try to recover it the same day. That is where people blow challenges.

How has funded trading changed things for you?

Trading a $100,000 account changes the maths entirely. My percentage returns are the same but the actual dollar profits are much more meaningful. The first payout arrived exactly when it was supposed to.
